Why do golf courses aerate greens?

Spring is almost upon us!

While we’re getting ready for the new season at the driving range, or practice putting in our living rooms, golf courses are doing the same.

Some courses aerate in the spring, some in the fall. While we all dread the day we walk up to that first green and seen the million holes waiting to take our putt off course, it is a necessary and beneficial evil. Here’s why!
