We have a winner!

Our Golf ClubSox contest giveaway was a huge success, and we have a more than happy winner! We’re thinking that’s the way a contest should go. Here’s what our winner had to say!

And to put a little icing on the contest cake, here are some pretty impressive Facebook numbers for a contest that was only online for one week. Our Facebook page had 1,753 sets of eyeballs on it during the contest, along with 68 post clicks, 13 shares, 11 likes, 11 comments and the cherry on top…15 new likes for our page, which is a good number for page that had a little more than 500 when the contest started. All of that and we haven’t even added up all of our shares and favorites on Twitter.

Our next contest giveaway, which will start in February, will be a foursome to Lulu Country Club.

WAGT partners with the PGA Tour

The newest member of the GolfPA family is making waves!

We are excited to announce that the PGA Tour has now added the World Amateur Golfers Championship on its official partner site. PGATOUR.COM is the world’s leading golf website and is visited by millions of fans, PGA tour players and sponors each year.

We are proud to have a link to our website on the official PGA Tour partner page.

World Amateur Golfers Championship is the largest and most prestigious Amateur golf tournament in the World. It’s currently being played in over 40 countries, with more countries working to became part of the event in the future. The Tournament is open to all players, male or female, with a handicap of 25 or better. Players compete in the following flights; 0-5, 6-10, 11-15, 16-20 and 21-25. One winner from each flight will advance from their National Championship and represent their country at the World Final. The local country will pay for all expenses, including airfare, hotel, golf, food etc. thus making the players feel like a pro for one week. Past host countries include US, South Africa, Thailand, Spain, Turkey, Dominican Republic and more.

Mr. Arnold Palmer as well as Princess Birgitta of Sweden are Patrons of the event and LPGA Hall of Famer Annika Sorenstam is Honorary Chairman.

World Golfers Championship is organized by World Amateur Golfers Tour USA (www.WAGTUSA.com) in the US. WAGT USA is running local events across the country all year long, leading up to a National Final. More information can be found on their website.

Teeing it up at the North Coast Golf Shows Feb. 13-15 mega event!

If you love golf, and we know you do, there’s only one place to be this coming Valentines Day!

The North Coast Golf Shows biggest event of the year is happening just outside Philadelphia, and we’ll be there, hanging out with TL Golf Services. We’re sure there will be a special broadcast, or two, with GolfTalk Live, the national award winning radio show featuring your host, Tony Leodora!

GolfPA will also have a few new tricks up our sleeves.

Kakadu Australia is sending us some of their incredible golf gloves, and we’ll be giving some away as prizes.

Golf ClubSox is also sending over a couple of their Made in the USA headcovers, which you can have specially designed just for yourself, or for you favorite golfer. They can design a College ClubSox for your favorite team, too!
