We’re so happy to hear that Lulu Country Club, after a devastating fire, will be open again for golf this Saturday. Please go out and support the club. While there is still a lot to do, the owners and staff are committed to keeping play going at the storied Donald Ross designed layout.
If you love to let loose with the driver, head over to Jeffersonville Golf Club in West Norriton Township, Montgomery County, PA. Now, if you’re extremely long off the tee there are a few holes, including the intimidating #1 where you have to think twice, but most of the par fours are set up to allow you to grip it and rip it.
Once you find your ball though, a certain touch is needed for these Donald Ross designed greens. Some of the crowned putting surfaces are difficult to hold from more than a hundred yards out.
Hidden Gem is over used. A true challenge is over used. We’ll go with, one hell of a good golf course. Donald Ross was one the greatest golf course architects of all time, with an uncanny ability to put a bunker almost exactly where your drive is going to land.
Check out Jeffersonville Golf Club right here to book your tee time.
But before you go, check out the course layout here. You’ll be glad you did, because when we said one hell of a good golf course, we meant it’s a true challenge for any golfer, and a real hidden gem.
